Hodder Studio to publish What Planet Can I Blame This On?, the debut novel from Ellie Pilcher

Hodder Studio is to publish the debut romantic comedy from Avon’s Marketing Manager Ellie Pilcher in June 2021.

What Planet Can I Blame This On? is a gloriously fun debut about looking to the stars for answers and finding them within ourselves. As Krystal approaches her 29^th birthday her life is perfect, but when it’s all upended and her friend blames it on her Saturn Return, Krystal turns to horoscopes, crystals and even a tarot card or two. She’s never bought into all of this before but maybe it’s time to re-evaluate – because if the stars got her into this mess, they can get her out of it.

Hodder Studio’s Bea Fitzgerald has acquired world rights from Northbank’s Hannah Weatherill.

Ellie is a journalist, blogger and public speaker who has previously written for Glamour, The Telegraph, Huffington Post among others. She is Avon’s Marketing Manager, and recipient of a 2020 London Book Fair Trailblazer Award.
