Canelo to publish three more novels from Marion Todd

05/06/2020

Canelo have acquired World English Language rights to three further books in the DI Clare Mackay police procedural series by Marion Todd from Hannah Weatherill at Northbank Talent Management.

Editorial Director Louise Cullen, who signed the books, will work with Marion on a new novel in which Clare investigates a series of deaths in St Andrews. When some victims are linked to a dating site, Clare and her team must unravel what ties them together – and what secrets they were keeping. Is a serial killer on the loose, or is this something else?

Louise Cullen says: ‘To see the response of readers to the first three books in the DI Clare Mackay series has been wonderful. Marion is incredibly talented and her loyal and growing fanbase is richly deserved. I am beyond thrilled that Marion will continue working with Canelo.’

Marion Todd says: ‘I’m delighted to be continuing the DI Clare Mackay story with Canelo who have been a dream to work with. I’ve lots of challenges planned for Clare as the series progresses.’

The fourth book in the DI Clare Mackay series will be published in February 2021, with a subsequent novel to follow later that year. Marion’s third novel, Lies to Tell, is available to pre-order now.
