Marissa Constantinou named Bookseller Rising Star of 2026

Congratulations to Northbank Fiction Agent Marissa Constantinou who has been named a Rising Star of 2026 by The Bookseller.

Since joining Northbank, Marissa has negotiated six-figure deals, orchestrated major pre-empts, sold rights in seven territories and secured film and TV options. In previous roles, she’s edited or acquired books that have been listed for The Pushcart Prize, The Diverse Book Award, The RSL Ondaatje Prize, The Fortnum & Mason Awards and The Wainwright Prize.

Marissa highlights Aftertaste by Chloe Michelle Howarth, due for publication in June 2027, as a particular career milestone, having secured her first six-figure deal with the project. Looking ahead, she is excited about forthcoming books from Bianca Gillam, Pam Williams and Mary Newnham, while continuing to build Northbank’s fiction list by developing new novels with exciting BookTubers and creators.
