Dr Hannah Fry delivers Royal Institution Christmas Lectures to great acclaim

Dr Hannah Fry delivered the celebrated Royal Institution Christmas Lectures this year.

Broadcast on BBC4 on the 26th, 27th and 28th of December 2019, Hannah’s exploration of the secrets of maths and the power of AI enraptured audiences and critics alike. With the help of maths comedian Matt Parker, Hannah made use of BMX stunt-riders, flaming balloons and giant slices of cheese in her quest to explain the secrets of maths

Asking questions like whether humans or robots can make fairer decisions, and whether an algorithm can create music better than Vivaldi, Hannah explored the many ways in which maths exerts a very real power over our lives.
