03/12/2019

Dr Kevin Fong’s podcast 13 Minutes to the Moon, produced by Andrew Luck-Baker and Rami Tzabar for BBC World Service, has scooped the Audio Entertainment Prize at the prestigious Rose d’Or Gala Awards, which reward excellence in entertainment programming.

Held in London for the first time in its 58 year history, the awards selected winners across ten categories, chosen by a jury of more than 70 industry professionals.

This is the latest in a string of awards for Fong, who was awarded Best Factual Podcast at the AIB International Media Excellence Awards, and Silver in the in-depth reporting category at the 2019 AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards last month, both for 13 Minutes to the Moon.
