Sphere to publish Carla Valentine’s Murder Isn’t Easy

We are excited to announce that Carla Valentine‘s Murder Isn’t Easy will be published by Little Brown imprint Sphere in spring 2020.

In her second book, Carla, the technical curator of Barts Pathology Museum and a qualified Anatomical Pathology Technician, will uncover the forensic science at the heart of Agatha Christie’s legendary detective novels. Murder Isn’t Easy explores the real-life cases that inspired Christie and shows how the great mystery writer kept up to date with the latest developments in forensic science, from ballistics to blood-splatter analysis.

Senior commissioning editor Rhiannon Smith bought UK and Commonwealth (excluding Canada) rights from Northbank non-fiction agent Martin Redfern.
