The Extraordinary Life of Michelle Obama by Dr Sheila Kanani, a new biography aimed at young readers, is published today by Puffin.

The book introduces children to the inspiring story of the former First Lady, celebrating her work as a diversity campaigner and a bold voice in the White House.

Sheila, a planetary physicist and science presenter, has also penned another title in the series, The Extraordinary Life of Rosa Parks, which will be published in 2019.
