Arthur Turrell‘s How to Build a Star, a new book exploring the incredible science of nuclear fusion, is to be published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson. 

Editorial Director Paul Murphy acquired UK & Commonwealth rights from Northbank literary agent Martin Redfern. Arthur Turrell is a plasma physicist, Visiting Professor at Imperial College London and recently moved to the Bank of England, where he is applying his scientific training to questions about the macroeconomy.

Filled with the remarkable stories of the scientists who have dedicated their lives to answering a seemingly impossible dream, How to Build a Star describes astonishing experiments in nuclear fusion that are recreating stellar conditions right here on earth.

It will be published in 2021.
